NEARLY PRISTINE WOOD CASE. 3 internal speakers: 1 huge 5.5″ x 9″ oval woofer speaker and 2 x electrostatic tweeters. ELECTROLYTIC FILTER CAPACITORS REPLACED WITH NEW. ALL OUT OF TOLERANCE RESISTORS REPLACED WITH NEW. WAX TUBULAR CAPACITORS REPLACED WITH NEW. CONTROLS AND SWITCHES CLEANED WITH DEOXIT. SPEAKER CLEANED OF ALL DUST BUNNIES AND TESTS PERFECT. WOOD CASE CLEANED AND POLISHED inside and out. ALL METALLIC SURFACES CLEANED AND POLISHED. BACK COVER IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. 2 Panel pilot lamps replaced with new. EM87 Magic Eye tube cleaned and tested bright and effective. SIZE: 20″W x 11″H x 10D. 6 tubes: ECH81, EF89, EABC80, EL84, ECC95 and EM87. POWER CORD is original and in excellent condition with on damage or defects. Phono input jack replaced with popular RCA famale, gold plated jack for iPod adapter or phono input. A vintage Grundig BC/SW/FM Radio. The radio powers on but I was unable to get a signal from any stations. The radio physically looks good, there is some discoloration/stains on the top of the radio in the wood (see photos). The back is missing and I know there is a least one fuse missing from the back (can be seen in rear photo). The overall appearance of the radio is very nice with a beautiful classic look. RARE! Restored! GRUNDIG 4010GW German Vintage Tube Radio Big 2x UL11 Telefunken

German tube radio, built 1952/53. This splendid tube radio was fully restored + revised. 2x Giant Telefunken UL11. Critical capacitors, elkos and defective resistors were replaced. Contacts were refreshed, so there is no longer any scratches or noise. All mechanical parts were cleaned and reoiled. The radio was cleaned inside and out, polished, etc. Grundig 4010GW tube radio model from 1952/53. The 10 tubes and the original speakers are in perfect working condition. Tubes: UF80, UC92, UF41, UCH81, UM4, UBF80, UAA91, UCH81, UL11, UL11. The magic eye UM4 is original and new. Voltage regulator works from 110 to 240V. It´s ready to plug in. It is possible to connect external players like mp3 and other. The wood and varnishing is in a good condition for his age with any small signs of use. Only on the top is the varnish not so good and visible. UKW / FM checked and very good. The other bands don´t checked, because we haven´t any receiption in Germany. Please have a look at the photos, it looks really great! Principle: Superhet general, ZF/IF 468/10700 kHz. Wave Range: Long wave, medium wave, short wave and FM.
