This listing is for a great looking vintage radio. Almost hate to sell it but need to move it along. It is a tube radio made by Grundig and is a model 2028. It was made in Western Germany and from the research I did it looks like 1959 for the year. 18 inches wide by 12 inches tall. I have not reason to think that it would not work, it looks complete, the tubes looks old and original as well. Thank you for looking.

Vintage Luxury German Grundig Automatic 4040W/3D Majestic Klang Tube Radio. An awesome vintage radio. Brings in local FM stations clearly and sounds nice. I do not know a whole lot about the radio. The local FM comes in nicely on UKW1 and UKW2 settings. Whenever I switch the motor switch below the sender the tuner goes all the way to the left of the radio and it doesn’t do anything else. When I switch it back to the right “aus” it becomes a normal tuning knob again. The volume knob works. The bass knob works. The honer knob works. The Antenna knob still works. The on/ off power switch works as well. Overall the cabinet is in good shape with some cosmetic wear including discoloration of the finish. Comes with a cloth cover. This is a vintage used Grundig Model 2066PX tube radio. Overall it is in very good condition and is fully functional except for the tuner. The tuner linkage is broken from the dial being too stiff. You can still move the tuning mechanism by hand from the back so I have confirmed that the tuning eye and tuner both work. I will include the broken tuning linkage in case you want to repair it. The linkage is pretty complicated but all of the pulleys are still in tact. The inside was very dusty when I acquired it and it has been blown out with compressed air. The speakers work, bass and treble knobs work, volume control works, and all the tubes are glowing. The outer wood facade has light scuffs and scratches. Its dimensions are 21 inches by 13 inches by 8.5 inches. If you would like to see more pictures or have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.
