RARE EXPORT MODEL – 115V AC (USA). Classic European design with glossy Bakelite cabinet, multi-band world dial, and Voice / Orchestra tone selector. ? Condition & Operation. Powers on (unit lights up). No sound output. FM tuning needle moves. All buttons respond when pressed. One button is missing on the top center, located between the “Voice” and “Orchestra” buttons. Back panel, wiring, and antenna connections appear original. Due to age, the radio will require service/restoration to function properly. Very attractive display condition. For sale this beautiful Graetz Comedia tube radio. The wooden box has some signs of wear and tear nothing serious. The radio has been cleaned and maintained and in perfect working order.
Vintage Graetz 1111 Komtess German Tube Radio. A quite rare German Graetz tube radio with following specs. Manufactured by Graetz , Altena, Germany in 1959. Wave bands, LW, MW, SW, FM. Power supply, 110, 127, 150, 220 V, AC, 55/60 Hz. Wooden cabinet, table model with push buttons. Record player connection that will accept any audio signal source. Dimensions, 15.9×9.1×6.9 in. I can’t get it to work. Changed one of the tubes, when looking at the back of the radio the far right tube is brand new. Lights up when radio plugged in the other one does not. I don’t know anything about these old radios so I prefer to leave it to someone else who knows than do something wrong.
