Vintage Graetz 1111 Komtess German Tube Radio. A quite rare German Graetz tube radio with following specs. Manufactured by Graetz , Altena, Germany in 1959. Wave bands, LW, MW, SW, FM. Power supply, 110, 127, 150, 220 V, AC, 55/60 Hz. Wooden cabinet, table model with push buttons. Record player connection that will accept any audio signal source. Dimensions, 15.9×9.1×6.9 in. I can’t get it to work. Changed one of the tubes, when looking at the back of the radio the far right tube is brand new. Lights up when radio plugged in the other one does not. I don’t know anything about these old radios so I prefer to leave it to someone else who knows than do something wrong. Made in GERMANY in 1957/1958 type: Musica 517k Raumklang Groß Super mit Schallkompressor. This radio isn’t a basement found, it comes from 1. Owner in Düsseldorf who used it daily in his dining room until he died last february. It looks great and original and all functions are working. The magic eye works too. The wooden housing looks great and absolutely suitable for the living room. It plays powerfull on FM other bands are working too – but need external antenna.
