This old Yaesu looks pretty good for it’s age! The cabinet is a little dirty, but should clean up well. The paint is original and there are just a few small scuffs and scratches. The cover is missing the two small screws that secure it in place. The faceplate still has the factory’s plastic film over it. Inside, it’s dusty but will clean up well with just some compressed air. I’m guessing it’s original and unmodified, but I’m not an expert on this model by any means, so please review the photos for yourself and judge for yourself. This is an ideal candidate for electronic restoration! This piece of equipment is believed to have not been used in years (possibly decades). It will almost certainly need some level of service. This may include: replacement of electrical components (such as capacitors, resistors, diodes, tubes, etc), cleaning of controls, alignment, and so forth.
