Very good condition Hard to believe its close to 70 years old Worked when tested This is what we observed when we tested it for at least an hour: The 5 push buttons work well. The 1st one is the off button. When buttons 2,3, & 5 are down we hear a hum & static. When button 4 is down, we were able to hear several stations. Most were clear, a few had static. Some of this is probably the result that we are located at the base of a mountain & some of the channels are for foreign frequency. Both tuning knobs on the right work well. The large button on the left is stationary, the left, small volumn button works well but is missing a gold, metal cap on the front The tuning strength light does light up as well as the station area. It shows up better when its dark as shown The exterior has minor wear, minimal scratches, scuffs & crazing, has a nice shine The antenna, cord & plug is in great shape. This item is big & heavy. Here we have SIEMENS tube radio , made in GERMANY in 1951 Qualitäts super – SH 607 W This radio isn ´t a basement found, it comes from first owner from Düsseldorf who is now in an old people’s home and couldn’t take it with him. It was always in the living room on a small table next to the door and was used every day. That is why it has always been maintained and repaired in the past. The wooden housing looks great and absolutely suitable for the living room. It plays on 3 waves (middle wave, long wave and short wave), no FM and the external input also works (I have attached a video of exact my radio and a CD player connected). Vintage Luxury German Imported Saba Villingen Wildbad 11 Tube Radio

This has been in my family for years, a real wood cabinet, gorgeous vintage Saba tube radio. These are highly collectable, and were considered the’cadillac’ of german radio design. This one is a german import, so everything is in german and you can switch the radio down to 110v, which has already been done so you can just use a plug adapter to convert the EU plug with this. The sound this radio produces is great, coming from 2 6x9s in front, and two more speakers on the side. Controls are smooth, and well built. Works fine, powers up as seen in these photos and produces sound. Tests beyond that were not performed. The radio has some marks here and there on the cabinet, with no serious damage. Only problem seems to be volume knob on the right appears stuck (at full volume) and wouldn’t move down when we tested this unit so we have priced it lower.
