This is a beautiful Vintage EMUD tabletop radio. Overall, I would say the condition is excellent for it’s age. I was not able to test the radio as the power cord is damaged. It has inputs for a phono or tape player. The buttons and knobs all work, except when one of the selector buttons is in the down position and you press the ON/OFF button the down position button does not pop up. I pressed gently on one of the other buttons and the down button popped up. Manufactured in West Germany.
This vintage German Saba tube radio is a rare find for collectors. Made in the 1950s, it features a classic design and was exported to the US market. The brand is known for its quality and this radio is no exception. It was manufactured in Germany, adding to its unique history. The exterior is on good condition, some marks on the top, see video. Bass and Treble tone adjustments. Built in FM loop antenna. Record player connection that will accept any audio source signal. Wooden case, table top model with push buttons. Dimensions, 17 X11.5 X 8.5 in.
This is a beautiful vintage Telefunken GAVOTTE 8U German tabletop radio licensed by Armstrong. It is clean, powers on and has been tested with the internal antennas. I received a strong local FM station, but others are weak in my location (basement of my house). I heard static on SW and Special channels. Phono not tested or the other sound buttons. The radio is clean but has various scratches (a few deep) and mars & blemishes consistent with age. There is a hole in the cabinet on one side. The power cord at the connector is frayed and has been taped but should be replaced before use. See photos and description below for more information. Inquire with any questions or for more photos. Weight: 16 lbs. Length: 18 in. Depth: 7 in. Height: 12 in.
Ok condition, but definitely shows signs of its age. It does work, plays the FM stations. The cord is spliced, see pictures. The inside is quite dusty. The right side from the back is loose. You only notice when you purposely lift it there. There is a scuff on the bottom left front. The knobs have a bit of black wear stains. The back cover is loose and is tough to get all the way in. Whenever it is messed with, more plywood chips tend to fall off at the bottom. The plywood chips fall out often, but once you get it setup as you like it is stable. Please see all pictures to decide if this is for you.
Listing is for one. Braun RC81A German Tube Amp Radio Receiver w/ Telefunken Tubes. 1959/1960 I think: Model: Tischsuper G11-81 Ch = RC81 A – Braun; Frankfurt. Powered on, basic radio working (see Video). I was able to tune to one channel. I can’t read German, so I don’t understand anything on the unit. No further testing done. Item has scratches, scuffs, & is missing a knob. I included a substitute that doesn’t fit great, but is better than no knob. The schematic was in fair shape has tape on it. Tubes are removed (I included a diagram for re-installiation), and bubble wrapped, and taped to the chassis w/ blue painters tape. Care was taken in this process. It’s well packed in foam, & bubbles, & a box in a box. Please remove packing material CAREFULLY. Please see pics for the visual condition. As with any vintage item, please expect there to be wear, scuffs/scratches, odors, discoloration, rust, dust, signs of age, etc. And though I may have gotten an item to power on, due to the age, item could fail to do so at any time. Pics are of actual item (s). Item does not come with anything else, unless noted in description. Please visit my store for more vintage items! Office reference: Item #24-1120.
Vintage Luxury German Grundig Automatic 4040W/3D Majestic Klang Tube Radio. An awesome vintage radio. Brings in local FM stations clearly and sounds nice. I do not know a whole lot about the radio. The local FM comes in nicely on UKW1 and UKW2 settings. Whenever I switch the motor switch below the sender the tuner goes all the way to the left of the radio and it doesn’t do anything else. When I switch it back to the right “aus” it becomes a normal tuning knob again. The volume knob works. The bass knob works. The honer knob works. The Antenna knob still works. The on/ off power switch works as well. Overall the cabinet is in good shape with some cosmetic wear including discoloration of the finish. Comes with a cloth cover. Please see photos and read the description for what you will receive.
