Classic GE #911 radio with beautiful mid-century / Art Deco styling. Creamy vintage tones and timeless lines make this a standout piece for any collector or retro decor enthusiast. Height: 6.25. Depth: 5.5. Powers on and appears to function. Background humming sound present – may need a tune-up or internal cleaning. Cosmetically in good vintage shape. Smoke and pet free home. Made in the USA.

Tablemodel, Tombstone = decorative upright, not cathedral but can have rounded edges. 11.4 x 15.5 x 6.8 inch / 290 x 394 x 173 mm. Bemerkung The General Electric model A-53 is on the schematic at Rider’s 6-4 through 6-8 which show IF peak at 465 kc. The A-53 can have a 25 cycle (C) or 60 cycle mains transformer which came in two versions, one fix for 105-120 volts (A), the other for 105 to 250 volts with 4 tappings (V). The Broadcast band covers 540 – 16000 kc and the Short wave band 2.4 – 6.8 mc. It has a tone control knob. This is untested because it needs a new cord. Very nice cosmetic condition.
