The case has 107 vintage tubes housed inside the case all of vintage era, from various makers, rca, sylvania, raytheon, etc. The inside of the case is absolutely mint as you can tell by the pictures. The out side is a bit weathered. The latches are nice and tight. This came from the estate of a rca rep, who was in the business for about 30 years. His family supplied that information to me. A most fabulous piece of memorabilia intact and complete , and very seldom seen in such a full and complete condition. German tube radio from 1956/57. Amazing & Powerful Sound!! This splendid tube radio is restored. The critical capacitors were changed, also any elkos and defective resistors. It has a new magic eye, any new tubes, new cable, plug and new lights for the scale. All moving / mechanical parts were reoiled. Contacts have been refreshed. The radio was cleaned inside and out. The case was polished, technically checked etc. Philips BD563A Saturn 563 tube radio model from 1956/57. The 9 tubes and the original speakers are in perfect working condition. Voltage regulator works from 110 to 220V. It´s ready to plug in. It is possible to connect external players like mp3 and other. It is cleaned and polished. Please have a look at the photos, it looks really great! Principle: Superhet general, ZF/IF 460 / 10700 kHz. Wave Range: Long wave, medium wave, short wave and FM. German tube radio from 1958/59. This splendid tube radio was restored. The capacitors were replaced. It has some new Tubes, which were replaced and a new magic eye. Lights for the scale were replaced. All moving parts were reoiled. The radio was cleaned inside and out. The wood, and copper parts were polished, technically checked etc. Philips BD583A tube radio model from 1958/59. The 9 tubes and the original 4x speakers are in perfect working condition. Tubes: ECC85, ECH81, EBF89, EBF89, EM84, ECC83, EL86, EL86, EZ81. The EM84 Magic Eye is new. Voltage regulator works from 110 to 220V. It´s ready to plug in. It is possible to connect external players like mp3 and other. Original varnish (not revarnished). It is cleaned and polished. Please have a look at the photos!
