German tube radio, build 1960 by the famous SABA company, Villingen, black forest. Restored completely, working perfect! Typical design of the late 1950ies, early 1960ies. This radio has been restored electrically and optically. In that period I got a lot of experience with these radios. THIS RADIO IS WORKING PERFECT, GREAT SOUND AND RECEIPT! Almost mint with very less signs of age and use. Except 2 little round areas on top left edge, where color of wood is darker. Please have a look at the fotos, it looks great, and will be of course an eyecatcher in your living room. The dial glass is in best condition. This radio has 2 full band speakers (greencones) in front and 2 tweeters to the left and right for full 3D sound. The chassis has been restored electrically. The tubes are new or used in mint condition. Magic eye EM84 is NEW. All bad capacitors are changed , the mechanic is working perfect. The switches are in good working condition. All knobs and keys are original. The chassis itself is cleaned and in good condition. Are all in excellent working condition. There are following tubes inside. EC92 , EC92 , ECH81 , EBF89 , ECC83 , EC92, EL95 , EL95 , EM84. The filters were adjusted using a Grundig AS5 test transmitter. Fantastic sound, a lot of bass and clear highs! Perfect receipt on FM. Critical capacitors, elkos and resistors were replaced. The chassis was cleaned. All individual parts were cleaned, the wooden cabinet was cleaned and polished, all mechanical parts were cleaned and reoiled, all contacts were refreshed, technically checked, perfect working etc. SABA Freudenstadt 125 Stereo tuberadio model from 1960/61. The radio is in perfect working order. The cabinet and the radio is in a very good condition. The varnish is very good. On the top is the radio slightly faded. You can see the shadow of the cable and the plug. I think the radio stood a long time on the windowsill with the cable on the top for years. Through the sun it is discolored and faded on the top. The radio has 2 full band speakers (greencones) in front and 2 tweeters to the left and right. It has a fantastic tube sound, very clear, warm and loud. The 9 tubes and the original speakers are in perfect working condition. Voltage regulator works from 110 to 220V. It´s ready to plug in. The radio works on all bands, all functions are guaranteed.
