Temporary cord has been rigged to try it. Cord needs to be replaced. I was able to tune in a radio station, has static when turning volume knob. Appears to have some small drops of white paint on it. Turntable runs, I did not try a record on it.
Here i have for sale is a 1946 crosley 56pb radio. Overall it works great. I have fully recapped it. Also i have added an auxiliary input so with just a flip of a switch on the back you can plug in any device via the 1/8 audio jack (the blue tooth device in pictures is NOT included). Its a very nice looking radio now. I have run it for a few hours to make sure everything is good.
I have fully recapped it as well as replaced out of spec resistors. Also i have added an auxiliary input so with just a flip of a switch on the back you can plug in any device via the 1/8 audio jack (the blue tooth device in pictures is NOT included). Its a very nice looking radio. The bakelite looks nice. Just had one crack on the bottom corner which i glued and you cant see it without tipping it over. I have run it for a few hours to make sure everything is good.
Here i have for sale is a 1937 montgomery wards airline 62-405 battery powered tube radio. Its in need of a full restoration. I tested the tubes awhile back and i think they all had tested fine but cant remember for sure. While some veneer is coming loose none of its missing. One knob is missing and it will need a new plastic lens. Still a good unit for restoration.
Here i have for sale is a 1946 crosley 56tu radio. (i know this is a big ask, but i also have a 1946 crosley 56pb that i restored and listed that was bought new at the same store at the same time by the same family and these 2 have been together the whole time and it would be nice if they stayed together) overall it works great. I have fully recapped it. Also i have added an auxiliary input so with just a flip of a switch on the back you can plug in any device via the 1/8 audio jack (the blue tooth device in pictures is NOT included). Its a very nice looking radio now. It was a boring solid white that had a bunch of stains and scratches so i painted it a nice red. I have run it for a few hours to make sure everything is good.
AS SEEN IN IMAGES. What you see is exactly what you will receive. Radios spent years inside a non smoking home. I check that on/off works and tuner both freely move. If not see below. TUNER DIAL AND NEEDLE MOVE FREELY. RED FLAG DOES NOT MOVE. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!

Here i have for sale is a 1946 rca tube radio and record player. Its in need of a full restoration. Powers up but has filter cap hum but you’d be replacing them anyways. I tested the tubes awhile back and i think they all had tested fine but cant remember for sure. Has some veneer damage on the lid and the back lower edge. Looks like a good unit for restoration.
AS SEEN IN IMAGES. What you see is exactly what you will receive. Radios spent years inside a non smoking home. I check that on/off works and tuner both freely move. If not, see below. Power switch red flag works. Once tubes warm up, static noise in speaker. Identified tube, see images. The worn pigtail will also touch together and shut down radio. I use 12vt power supply that resets. The radio needs bath and fresh air. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!
