In overall good or better condition. Case is a nice swirly off white with no apparent damage. There is a small scratch on the back at the top left. Looks to have been serviced at some point by a shop in Virginia. Does power own and tune in stations. It took a few seconds to warm up and there was a slight hum on a few stations we tuned. Overall the sound was quite clear. The bulb for the dial does light, but is a bit faint. Shelf N/012122 – XO. THIS RADIO HAS A WORKING SLIDING TAMBOUR DOOR, ALONG WITH TOP AND BOTTOM CORK ACCENTS, ALSO LIGHT WRAPAROUND WOOD. THE RADIO ALSO IS HOUSED IN A BEAUTIFUL CABINET. The radio is appx 14.5″ long and is 8 1/16″ high. Not sure if the radio had a back covering. Dont know much about this radio, is it called silent because it needs earphones? This listing is for a Vintage FADA 270T Antique Tube Radio RARE Estate Item Powers On UNTESTED. Condition is used UNTESTED, This powered on and the lights came on the front and tubes on the back also lit up. The knobs when turned made static sound in the speaker, other knobs changed the selectivity and band. The far right knob turns it on or off. No other testing was done. This is from a estate, I dont know anything else about it. There is a lot of dust on the back of it where the tubes are so it will need to be cleaned well to prevent damage or fire. There are some frayed wires that should probably be replaced I dont know if they are ground wires or for a speaker. The top right corner of the wood is loose see photos.
