This listing is for a Vintage FADA 270T Antique Tube Radio RARE Estate Item Powers On UNTESTED. Condition is used UNTESTED, This powered on and the lights came on the front and tubes on the back also lit up. The knobs when turned made static sound in the speaker, other knobs changed the selectivity and band. The far right knob turns it on or off. No other testing was done. This is from a estate, I dont know anything else about it. There is a lot of dust on the back of it where the tubes are so it will need to be cleaned well to prevent damage or fire. There are some frayed wires that should probably be replaced I dont know if they are ground wires or for a speaker. The top right corner of the wood is loose see photos. Here you have from my collection. A BEAUTIFUL FADA BULLET 1000 TWO TONE RADIO. Its all there – original knobs, dial lens, and back, & handle. Not working, knobs work as they should, and point to radio station when turned, as well as on/off. Chasis is all there. Body is perfect, a bit dusty, with good finish. I will leave it up to the new owner to polish it up, and overhaul if desired. Again, this one is all there, looks great, but with a little work, will look like a million bucks! There are two or three tiny rough spots (difficult to photograph or see with the eye) that can be felt under the finger near the top of the radio above its dial (see the last photograph). This radio is in all original unrestored condition. It has not been cleaned, as-found condition. Will leave any cleaning to the new owner. It retains its original back with model number and tube layout. It does have dirt and some small paint specs from someone who must have painted nearby at some point in its lifetime. Amazingly, there are no cracks. There is one tiny chip as shown in the last picture, I put a blue pen next to the chip for size reference. The chip is very small and not visible when displayed youd really have to be looking for it. When turned on the radio takes a minute to warm up but has a loud hum. It does try to pull in stations but they play very garbled. Either display as is or would be a great candidate for restoration!
