This listing is for a pretty uncommon Philco Tropic tube radio. Upon testing, t he chassis came on and the radio worked but the radio is unrestored. The cord was cut long ago. It has the original back and bottom tags. The radio is from a private collection and It is the first I have seen in many years. I pay for heavy duty boxes, 14 Cubic foot bags of peanuts, 300 count air packs, and 1000ft rolls of strong large bubble bubble wrap. I use tons of materials to ensure you get the radio safely. A table radio will go into about 20′ of bubblewrap and then into a bath of well packed peanuts usually. That is all packed with at least 2 of additional packing between the wrap and box sides.
