Vintage 1940s Emerson Model EC301 Tube Radio White Plaskon Cabinet Art Deco

This vintage original Emerson Model EC301 tube radio from the 1940s has been tested and works great. Has all the original knobs along with its beautiful white Plaskon cabinet and Art Deco design. Cabinet has a small hairline stress crack on left upper side panel. Made by Emerson Radio & Phonograph Corp. Be sure to take a good look at all of the pictures. They are part of the description and will give you a good idea of condition.

Up for sale is a very nice unrestored 1939 Emerson model DB296 Tube radio. Unit powers up and received signal, sound strong and clear. Case is in VG condition it does have a few very small scratches here and there. All knobs and dials work as they should.

Knobs are aftermarket only. Left bottom front has surface stretch mark. It is not a crack since it is not a trough crack. It is not seen in real life. Works factory Perfect All station are in place place, loud clear, recapped. All stations in place. Speaker has few mm hole repaired. We can not guaranty it works for many years? However it may work for so many years.. It can stop working any time just by standing on shelf. So if it stops working “tomorrow” we will not. Repair it again, Those 80 years old radios can stop working. Dial cord / rope is New, Dial Lens is New. A power cord is about 3+ foot it has display demo oriented length. Vintage Emerson 511 Moderne Tube Radio Restored

The all metal chassis is housed in a bronze marbelized ivory colored plaskon case and features a lighted dial and matching ivory knobs. This example has been completely electrically restored to its original specifications. The tubes have all been tested and found to be strong and new electrical components have replaced the old wax and paper out-of-spec parts in the chassis where necessary to assure safe and proper operation. A new polarized power cord was also installed. It is common that these old plaskon radio cases can have small stress cracks on the mid-corners and this one is no exception (see Photo #1 in the left corner). Additionally, there is a repair visible on the very lower right corner (Photos #2, #3 and #5). This radio plays extremely well and has a deep resonant and warm sound through its large baffled speaker. The tuning knob and pointer have been thoroughly cleaned and lubricated and work smoothly. The radio is a good’table’ size at about 11 1/2″ wide 7 1/2″ tall and 7 deep measured at the bottom. The chassis is secured underneath the case by its four wood and rubber feet screwed into the bottom. It is advisable when moving the radio from one location to another that the molded carry hole at the top be used as the radio weighs almost 7 pounds.

VINTAGE Emerson Telechron Clock Tube AM Radio, Model 700126

The radio has an incredible MCM look. The face and body of the clock radio is in excellent condition. The clock keeps the perfect time. The radio has a loud hum when turned on. I can faintly hear stations but the hum over powers. Great display piece or restoration project. 3 lb 7 oz.
