If you’re an uncompromising collector of antique technology, make sure to check out all my listings after you look at this one. I don’t think you’ll find a better, broader or more balanced assortment of technical antiques anywhere — hundreds of listings each year, almost all of them featuring eye-popping “gee whiz” gadgetry in exceptional original condition. Here’s a tiny, beautiful Emerson AX-217 “Little Miracle” wood radio that dates to the 1930′s. The radio’s Ingraham wood cabinet was restored by Tom Hayes, and its two-tone gradient finish is the result of multiple coats of varnish applied, polished and buffed out. Clean, crisp dial and clean knobs. Dial pointer is working properly. Chassis is in good shape, with minimal oxidation. Measures approximately 8 1/2″ wide by 5 1/2″ wide by 4 deep.
