This is a fully functional parallel three-tube radio using ST vacuum tubes UZ6C6-6ZP1-KX12F. The internal variable capacitor, trimmer capacitor, condenser, resistor, and power transformer have been replaced to enable reception, so it differs considerably from the original. The speaker net has been replaced, scratches have been touched up, and clear coating has been applied to the exterior. This radio is regenerative, so reception requires some skill; the point where it receives cleanly can be found by repeatedly adjusting the variable capacitor and trimmer capacitor. The reception condition changes depending on the location and antenna length. The right side is the tuning variable capacitor, the left is the trimmer capacitor, and the center is the power switch; the switch is OFF when vertical and ON when horizontal.

I have found very little about this piece. Made by Marti Electronics it is a model 25C, I believe it is a transmitter. The tag also reads M-25C / MR-30 / 150-170. 15 vacuum tubes in the unit. All look to be original vintage, I see many of the Bugle boy ones installed. It has a Turner Carbon Microphone attached. This came from a local radio station. This unit was hooked up on a rack mount. Now I have no way to test so I have to sell it as I found it. Pretty cool old piece. Please check over the photos. Thank you for looking.

Vintage 1940′S Crosley American Tube Radio 66TC Restored Electronics Input Jack

This is a nice 1946 Crosley 66TC radio known as the “American Overseas”. Cabinet has the original finish and apart from one very small repair in the veneer on the right side, it is in very nice original condition. The electronics were serviced several years ago with all paper and electrolytic capacitors replaced, and the radio plays well. There is some noise when tuning, most likely due to a dusty tuning capacitor. The radio has been on a shelf on display for several years. I believe the speaker was replaced in the distant past, possibly when the radio was fairly new. The Vintage 1940′s Crosley American Tube Radio 66TC with restored electronics and input jack is a collectible piece of history originating from the United States. This classic radio, with its iconic Crosley brand, embodies the nostalgia and charm of mid-20th century American design. Perfect for collectors or enthusiasts of vintage radios, it offers a unique blend of retro aesthetics and modern functionality, making it a valuable addition to any collection.
