Fantastic ZENITH model 6-D-030. Real wood cabinet with bakelite knob. This one has a fantastic look about it with its quarter circle speaker vents, brass zenith plate, quarter circle dial, double operation bakelite knob, and bright red on light. I was able to tune in multiple stations with little static. The main light still lights up nice an bright. One small loose thread in fabric. The dial plastic is clear… NOT yellow and dried/cracked. The original cord is in fantastic shape with no shorts. The body has some light scratches here and there. Looks to be all original fabric, knob, feet, cord, chassie, etc. IT WILL NOT TAKE MUCH TO REFURBISH THIS TO MINT CONDITION. It is 90% there! Or you could always keep it as is since it looks great already. 13 5/8″ wide, 7 3/4″ tall, and 6 1/4 deep. It will be protected well and insured. Let me know if you have questions. Powered with a 5 vacuum tube circuit, this little radio is quite powerful, and has that nice warm tube sound you would expect to hear in a vintage radio… The electrolytic capacitors have all been replaced with new ones for long life! This radio is in great condition, with only a few light stains and scuffs on the top and side, with the tiniest chip on the back top edge, chip is barely noticeable, only mentioned for accuracy. A fabulous blue Motorola Clock Radio, just perfect for any decor! Don’t miss out! Don’t forget to see m y other fun vintage tube record players and amplifier s currently listed! There are many vintage record players and radios out there, though it is important when purchasing any vintage electronics, to make sure the dried out or leaking capacitors in the amplifier have been replaced. Offering for sale a very unique Vintage Eames Era Jeweled Eyed Owl Clock Radio. Operates on a 9V battery. The volume works and the tuning dial does as well. I tested the radio with a battery and was amazed that it still works for such an old radio, however stations came in with lots of static. It operates on a 9V radio battery which is NOT included. It could use a good cleaning, especially to get the jeweled eye to sparkle! Parts of the body are formed out of metal, other parts are plastic. The top of the heads gold finish is dull and has a large dust spot, not sure if that will clean up or not, it could be repainted if you want to do the work.
