Really nice Silverstone D-727 plays fine motor drive works you can hear it engage but dial doesn’t move dial. The dial moves fine manually, green eye opens and closes as it should. The cabinet has been professionally restored has a veneer repair on top right rear corner and some veneer chips on edges looks to be filled in, but radio is still Beautiful. Very nice Truetone model D-727 tube radio. This was found in a recent estate sale. The radio is in very nice cosmetic condition. The chassis is super clean. There are two cords hooked up to it. When the radio is plugged in it seems to power up but I cannot get any noise out of it. I have not tried to plug in the other cord. The wood cabinet is in nice condition too. This radio features a very cool green tuning eye as well as motorized tuning! The former owner had many, many radios restored including this one! It seems to be working just as it should be. I was able to tune in several stations here in central Indiana. As you can see from the 3rd picture (taken at night and with the lights out), the tuning eye works like it should. The motorized tuning buttons also seem to be working as they should be. The wood cabinet is nice and solid and the finish looks beautiful. The backlit dial works as it should. The interior pictures detail how clean the interior components are. The radio measures approximately 22″ by 9 1/2″ by 11 1/2. It weighs approximately 28 pounds.
