Here we have a Vintage Crowley Tube Type Clock Radio. I believe this item is from the 1950′s. Overall this is a pretty nice Clock Radio. Both the Clock & Radio work. I have not tested for time accuracy nor the alarm. One of the side knobs is missing. Time set dial in rear of Clock is a little lose but works. 1950s Crosley Radio E 15 WE Table Top White Tube Vintage Radio Tested and it does turn on and makes the normal humming but I didnt get any stations to come in. Case is plastic and does have some wear/ light scuffing. Chrome has some light surface rust. Good old Crosley radio still in nice shape. Comes as seen in photos. The back lid is warped some, a long deep scrath or cracking in the paint on the top. Scattered scratches and some paint loss , the front looks dull and has color changes in it. Missing one rubber foot on the bottom. Isnt marked but has a paper inside that said 1924 Crosly Model 51, doesnt match up exactly but similar to it. This one has a screened opening in the front. The 1914 Crosly 51S has the same style cabinet. But knobs are placed different. The cabinet measures 11″ long by 8″ tall and 7 3/4 deep. Personal catalog number 546. The radio powers on when plugged in and turned on I was able to hear a hum and static. It was not hooked up to an external antenna. He REPWOOD cabinet is nice and solid and the finish looks nice. There are some minor imperfections like you might expect on a piece from this era. All of the various dials and switches seem to be working as they should be. The tuning dial does need some adjustment and/or lubrication as it was pretty stiff when I turned it. As you can see from the pictures, the chassis looks clean but the radio has been in storage for many years so I’m sure that it could use a good/thorough cleaning. I do not have the proper equipment to test this radio any further. Please be sure to preview all of the pictures so that you can determine the condition for yourself. CONDITION: Vintage condition shows wear from age and use. A crack on front above clock. Clock runs and seems to keep accurate time. The radio turns on and hums. In certain parts of my house I can get some station sounds, which tells me the tubes are still good. No guarantee on if you can actually use the radio fully. See pics for detailed description.
