This is a vintage Grundig 2260 tube radio, made in Germany. Cabinet shows normal wear, scuffs, and age-related marks. Interior appears complete with original tubes (see photos). Power cord is not included. Untested – may require cleaning, repair, or electronic restoration. Original Grundig badge and model number “2260″ on front. Large speaker for rich vintage sound. Thank you for looking at this. Vintage old tube or radio? I’ve been collecting radios for a while and I’ve never seen this radio before. So to me this is pretty rare. Maybe you’ve seen it? I don’t know. It’s pretty cool though. It’s going to need a rebuild. Definitely going to need repair. Doesn’t look like I have a power cord for it. I’m not sure how it’s supposed to power up. Looks like it has all the tubes and all the components that go with it. Like I said it’s very cool.
Cord is cut, several small cracks, mostly around the back edge of the case, some small holes in the speaker screen, knobs are.. Well not sure what’s going on with them. Honestly for as rare as this one is, not really that bad. Measurements are often in the pictures. Please think before you order, this literally puts food on my table, so the “changed my mind” return takes that food right off my table. The cord is stiff in places and some wires are showing in places, plugged it in and got nothing, so ls is. The football front frill needs repainting. The food Ball has some blemishes in it and some of the paint looks like it has scratches but not sure, see photos. The base needs repainting also.
