This is for a beautiful 1950s era Zenith B-835R wooden mahogany tube radio. Considered by many to be the best sounding american radio from the mid century era. Its definitely the clearest and loudest table radio I’ve ever heard. And my research indicated that this radio is particularly an easy one to do a modification to make it able to play an ipod. I looked at a youtube video (there’s a bunch of them) on how to do it and it seemed to me that a person with some basic knowledge could do it pretty easily and cheap. Only a few dollars worth of parts. The gentleman I got this from told me he had a radio guy go over this unit about 15 years ago. One of the pics of the side makes it look like the finish is faded on the bottom 2 inches but its just the lighting. There’s no fading there. It also looks like there is some white specks in the pic of the other side view but I can’t see them in real life. I will be listing a TON of vintage electronics in the next few weeks. Measures 15 1/2 x 10 high x 8 deep and weighs about 14lbs. Thats a proven track record of integrity and honesty. 12+ years of packing it right so it will get to you undamaged. I sell mostly used vintage items and they may have wear and I may not be an expert on them so please look at the pictures carefully and ask questions. Items may have come from a home where somebody smoked. Local pick-up is always accepted and even encouraged.
