1948 Vintage Zenith Bakelight Radio. Bought this at an estate sale many years ago from an antique radio collector. Not my area of expertise, but I’ve researched the details and it looks like the chassis was manufactured in 1948. Parts all look original, including the cord. Chassis has some age wear, but don’t see any cracks. Ready to be polished up and displayed. Any questions, please ask. See pics for your evaluation- item pictured is the one you’ll receive. Has been stored in dry, smoke free environment for decades. Hope this finds a collector who will enjoy it.

I plugged it in and it seems to work fine. It was picking up radio stations in my garage. The interior light works. All the knobs work and don’t seem to be too tight or too loose. Not sure of the exact year or model. I looked everywhere but I could not find anything. Some wear to the exterior, but nothing more than what you would expect over 75 years.
