SCOTT RADIO ALLWAVE 15 TUNER CHASSIS. THE HANDMADE QUALITY OF THIS SCOTT UNIT WAS — AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN — UNCHALLENGED. THIS ALLWAVE CHASSIS IS UNTESTED BUT APPEARS TO BE COMPLETE AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. A CHECK OF THIS UNIT DID NOT REVEAL ANY BROKEN WIRES or MISSING TUBES or PROBLEMS WITH THE TUNING. IN FACT THE TUNING KNOB TURNS WITH EASE. THE UNDERSIDE IS VERY CLEAN. THE PROTECTIVE PLATE WAS REMOVED TO TAKE THE PHOTOS IN OUR GALLERY SECTION. THE CHROME PLATING SHOWS SOME WEAR. CHECK THE LAST GALLERY PHOTO FOR A PHOTO OF ONE OF THE FLAWED AREAS ON THE TOP OF THE CHASSIS. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY HEAVY CHASSIS — 43 POUNDS TO BE EXACT. CONDITION: WORKING CONDITION UNKNOWN. PHILCO CATHEDRAL RADIO PART FOR SALE. From a PHILCO 89 RADIO. THIS IS A NON-WORKING CHASSIS THAT I FEEL IS VERY CLOSE TO WORKING. THE TUBES LIGHT, THERE ARE UPDATED CAPACITORS “UNDER THE HOOD”…. AND IF THE PROPER SPEAKER IS HOOKED UP… THE CHASSIS WILL PRODUCE A LINE NOISE. NO SPEAKER IS PROVIDED WITH THIS CHASSIS. CHASSIS HAS A NICE GRAPHIC AND IS PRETTY CLEAN ON THE UNDERSIDE. CROSLEY RADIO PART FOR SALE. TESTED / MOSTLY RECAPPED & WORKING WELL…. THE CHASSIS as shown in the gallery photos. THIS CHASSIS SOUNDS GREAT WHEN HOOKED UP TO THE PROPER FIELD COIL SPEAKER. Speaker not provided in this listing. IT PROVIDES A GOOD CLEAR RECEPTION, LOTS OF STATIONS ON THE DIAL, AND THE SHORT WAVE WORKS TOO. DON’T FORGET TO USE AN AERIAL. YOU WILL GET A LOT MORE SIGNALS. SHAFTS ALL TURN EASILY TUBES WERE ALL CHECKED AND STRONGER TUBES WERE USED TO REPLACE THE WEAK ONES. ONE FLAW: — THE CAT’S EYE TUBE DOES NOT WORK. OTHERWISE, ALL TUBES NOW CHECK GOOD – STRONG. L G-500 CHASSIS NUMBER 5G40 MEASURES: 17 1/2″ X 11 1/2″ X 7 1/4 & WEIGHS 17LBS. YOU GET THE ITEM IN THE PICTURES. I FEEL LIKE I PUT A FAIR PRICE ON THE ITEM IF YOU THINK IT SHOULD BE LESS HIT THE OFFER BUTTON AND GIVE ME YOUR PRICE. Estate sale item in Pre-Owned good clean working condition. Looks like there is no broken or missing parts or components. The cord was spliced and taped(see pics). Antenna pops-up and extends. Included is an extra antenna wire for the removable antenna. The outer cover has a couple worn areas and a couple small tears. Rheostat was cleaned & Lubed. I also have a 8G005 listed for parts. I’m a Non Smoking Home/Shop… BUT I’m not sure about the estate the items came from if it was a Non-smoking Home.. Consider my pictures as part of my description. A good faith effort has been made to give an accurate description of these items. Each have been inspected to the best of my ability. I believe that there is not a problem that can not be resolved. THE CHROME PLATING IS GENERALLY GOOD WITH MODERATE WEAR. THE ONLY NOTICEABLE FLAW IS THE CHROME LEAFING ON THE CENTER KNOB WHICH HAS CRACKED. WOOD IN GOOD CONDITION WITH MODERATE WEAR.
