Vintage Mid Century Electric? Princess Pink Tube Clock Radio Alarm? GE 913-D 50s

THE PRICE IN THIS LISTING IS NOT AN EXACT QUOTE!!! I HAD TO PUT SOMETHING FOR THE LISTING TO BE VISIBLE BUT CAN NOT QUOTE UNTIL I KNOW WHICH COUNTRY YOU LIVE IN!! This is a Beautiful rare find. It is a 1950s General Electric princess pink tube clock radio alarm clock. The clock works great and the alarm works and have been tested. The radio works, sometimes I have trouble finding a station sometimes I don’t and I get a lot of static in between. I do have videos of it working properly now. The light behind the dial lights up. And I did not find any chips cracks or breaks to the case at all. The only thing I found missing was one of the three small knobs above the radio dial, it looks like the metal thing that holds the knob used to be two prong and there’s now only has one prong. I believe a knob could easily be attached. I use a pair of pliers very gently to test the functions and turn it from on to auto to off. There are a few smudge marks that I didn’t try to hard to clean off. I didn’t want to take a chance of damaging the case. When I got it the clock was stuck so I had an electrician gently take it out and oil it and put it back in. Now it works great and has a wonderful sweep but when we had it apart we found the schematic inside the case but no longer glued to the wall. We left it in there. It’s very hard to find one of these 70 year old clocks in this great of a condition and still working. I left it plugged in for over 24 hours to test the accuracy of the clock, which by the way was perfect, it didn’t seem to be having any problems being plugged in and running for a long period of time. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PICTURES THEY ARE A BIG PART OF ANY DESCRIPTION. IF YOU WOULD LIKE ADDITIONAL PICTURES PLEASE ASK!! LOOK AT MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR UNUSUAL ANTIQUE AND COLLECTIBLE ITEMS. I pack my items VERY well + use sturdy boxes and that adds to the weight of the item. Most of the items I sell are Estate finds and in used condition, they may show signs of wear and use. I try to list and take pictures of any faults I find with these items. THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK!!!

Vintage 1932 Century 4-78 Cathedral Radio, Refurbished and Working

For your consideration , here’s a nice old Century 4-78 four-tube cathedral radio from, I would guess, somewhere around 1932, which is the year it was designed. I’m fairly sure it will be a quite a while before you’ll see another one due to the scarce information available related to it. Apparently the Century Company in Chicago was a contractor that produced radios for other companies. I replaced two tubes and worked on the cabinet and replaced the grill cloth and the two mismatched non-original knobs with two matched non-original knobs. I couldn’t locate a picture of this model to see what the original grill cloth and knobs looked like. The controls work just as they should. The green dial graphic is original. Please look over the pictures carefully to make sure the condition of the radio is acceptable to you. 15″ H x 12″ W x 9 D. Please don’t mess with the electronics unless you’re experienced working on vintage radios due to the presence of high voltages. Of course, please let me know immediately if you have a problem. I’d like you to enjoy this radio as much as I have.
