Cute vintage Coronado tube radio in working order. The radio takes around 30 seconds to warm up, once it does the light comes on and the radio plays. There is a bit of static even turned. The radio is in ok condition, the body is cracked in several places, some have been glued (with glue on the plastic), 2 corners are broken, there is color loss to the station indicator, the dials are discolored (white) with oxidization on the front of the knobs (green). The cord is starting to have signs of the plastic deteriorating. Please see photos and feel free to ask for more. The Mint/seafoam green radio measures approx. 14″x 9″x8, the cord is 2 prong and approx. The radio is heavy weighing 7.8 lbs.

The Mid Century Philco portable teal vintage radio (Model H691) was manufactured in the United States in 1960. Philco’s only tube-type portable radio for the 1960 season uses four tubes plus a selenium rectifier, and can operate on AC or DC current or on battery power. This functional radio features a stylish teal design typical of the mid-century era. Its portable nature allows for easy transport from room to room, making it a convenient and attractive addition to any vintage radio collection. Perfect for lovers of retro electronics, this Philco radio embodies the design and functionality of the era in which it was produced. While the radio is functional and picks us radio stations, it has a humming/buzzing noise in the background. It has a code engraved on the bottom, shown in the last photo. Dimensions: 10.5″ x 8″ x 4.
