It is un-tested and this being a tube radio I did not plug it in to see if it worked or not, was told that tubes could explode, not sure if that is true or not so will let the experts deal with that. We guarantee that everything we sell is authentic as described. You are a viewing nice Vintage 1950s Arvin 441T Hopalong Cassidy tube Radio. This radio has been tested and is in working order. It has most of the foil still present though worn and there is a few spots of very light surface rust on the dials. The case has some spray paint that seems to have been an accident, like they were painting a car, it is only a very very light spotting of white. It needs the antenna reattached properly as it was difficult to get a good signal in this building with it being hooked up the way it is, along with a new cord, this cord is shot. It was tested as stated above and I heard it for myself. Please view the photographs as they are an important part of the description and use them to judge this item for yourselves.
