This is a vintage Philco tube radio from 1949, housed in a portable roll top wood case. It is in working condition and was manufactured in the United States. The wood on this radio is beautiful with a roll top, and the radio has a lot of static between stations, but plays loud. Please view the pics for more details. And in the condition that is seen. There is also a scratch in the leather on the right side as shown in the pics. Please consider all of this before purchasing to make certain that this is the item and condition that is okay for you. The power cord is in great condition, but being an old radio, I suspect it should need some type of maintenance to get clearer channels etc. You may wish to clean and restore entirely.

This is a lovely vintage wooden radio from 1955. It is a Nikola Tesla radio made by Radio Industrija Beograd, Nikola Tesla, model 55 C. The radio is kept in a very good condition for its age, except for one small area on the wood where is visible small damage (the damaged area is marked at one of the photos). However the most important thing is the radio is working. The dimensions of the radio are (WHD): 560 x 340 x 220 mm or in inches 22 x 13.4 x 8.7. The weight of the device is 10 kg. Here is a RCA Radiola Special from 1923 made by Wireless Specialty Apparatus Co. The radio is in a fitted case, I think this must be custom made for it a long time ago for portability. It has a built in antenna in the lid and storage compartments for batteries and headphones. The external battery posts are wired up and I powered her up that way, the wires can easily be routed to the battery compartment. We have another at 1420 but I could not get that one, the radio may not tune that high? The variometer turns freely and a new grid leak resister is installed. The only thing I have done to this radio is wire up the battery posts. Please check the pictures they will show it off well. The case measures 16″ x 10 1/2″ x 7 1/2.
