Restored 1939 Philco model 39-7 AM Vintage tube radio with push buttons

It plays well with excellent tone range, no hum, and dial lights, tuner and station preset push-buttons working as intended. A length of wire is included that extends the antenna lead. In the electronic restoration, all components were checked with any weak or defective ones replaced, which included 2 tubes, all paper and filter capacitors, 1 resistor, volume control switch, power cord, speaker and output transformer. Tuning circuits were aligned. Veneer was repaired as required. The favorite station push-buttons are set from the back with a small screwdriver; the far-right push-button engages manual tuning using the knob on the right. The wood finish displays nicely, as the pictures show. The set has original knobs, push-buttons, dial and the original grill cloth and the dimensions: 12 1/2″ wide x 8 1/2″ high x 6 1/2 deep. This model didn’t come with a back cover. Every vintage tube radio I sell has been thoroughly serviced – tubes tested, components checked and then the unit is lubricated and cleaned inside and out. The work performed can be seen in the pictures of the chassis and/or found in the radio description. I obtained about 80 tube radios from an estate sale. I will be listing these over the next few weeks so please see my other listings. This listing is for a Silvertone shortwave tube radio. Cool shaped wood cabinet with art deco grill. Please see all pictures. Condition: No cracks or chips on the wood body. One knob is missing. The back is still on the clock as seen in pictures. The unit sits nice and flat with no wobble. The top has some wear as seen in pictures. The dial plastic is missing but replacements can be found online. These radios are highly collectable and are getting harder to find online. It will be protected well and insured. Let me know if you have questions.
