THIS IS A VINTAGE 1940S FADA 1000 BULLET ART DECO CATALIN BUTTERSCOTCH ANTIQUE TUBE RADIO I BOUGHT YEARS AGO AND HAVE NOT PLUGGED IT IN. HE STARTED TO WORK ON IT BUT DID NOT FINISH. 10 1/2″ X 5 1/2″. THE CHASSIS LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL AND IN NEED OF RESTORATION. I KEPT IT ON DISPLAY BUT NOW PARTING WITH ALL OF MY THINGS I NO LONGER NEED BECAUSE OF HEALTH. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES IT IS A BEAUTIFUL RADIO THAT SHINES AND LOOKS GREAT IT HAS A FEW SCRATCHES, STRESS MARKS, TUBE BURNS, DIRT, JUST THE WAY I GOT IT. I WOULD NEVER PLUG IN A VINTAGE RADIO AS OLDER ELECTRONICS CANNOT BE TRUSTED. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES IT IS A BEAUTIFUL RADIO FOR DISPLAY OR YOU COULD HAVE IT RESTORED. Material Catalin (a brand name for a thermosetting polymer popular in the 1930s and 1940s – a phenol formaldehyde resin – like Bakelite, but a two-stage process with a lot of work afterwards). Shape Design Radio or Novelty / Gadget – fancy or unusual shape. Dimensions (WHD) 10.5 x 6.5 x 5 inch / 267 x 165 x 127 mm. Cabinets in several gorgeous color combinations resembling precious stones. There are three chassis versions. The difference is in the tube complement, but there is no individual marking. We use the different tube base to distinguish.
