VTG (1931) Kennedy Coronet 42 Tombstone Broadcast Tube Radio Receiver

The radio powers on with a hum. I did not have it hooked up to an external antenna. This is a fairly rare set and one that would make for a good restoration project if so desired! It does have a couple of spots where the veneer has chipped off and the speaker grille cover has been torn some time ago. The cabinet itself is still nice and solid. Looks like someone added a small switch on the side at some point. It is not hooked up to anything now. All of the knobs/dials seem to be working as they should be. This radio had been in storage for a number of years so Im sure that it could use a good/thorough cleaning. It measures approximately 17 by 11 by 17 1/2. Please be sure to check out my many other vintage radio and vintage amplifiers that I have listed! VTG (1941) Zenith 7S633 Broadcast & Shortwave Tube Radio Receiver WORKS

The radio powers on as it should. I was able to tune in several stations here in central Indiana and I also got a lot of static. I did not hook it up to an external antenna. The wood cabinet is still nice and sturdy with no cracks, chips, etc. The finish looks nice as well. It does have a few minor imperfections like you might expect on a piece from this era. Check out the original tag on the bottom! The tuning dial does seem to have some play in it so my guess is that it could use some adjustment. All of the pushbuttons seem to be working as they should be. It measures approximately 20″ by 12″ by 10 1/2. Please check my other listings to see several other vintage radios from this collection. This vintage radio literally just came out of an attic from Long Island NY. It appears to have been stored in the original box for the past 60 years. Looks to be in excellent cosmetic condition with some minor wear to plastic near the power cord opening. The back cover to this radio has not been opened. Again it works perfectly, chassis and tubes are all intact. Comes in original box with manual. Please look at photos closely. If you have a question about this item please message me prior to end. This item is a gates radio co. Mixer console used in remote broadcast away from the home studio. Taken on the road to all types of events. In my area lots were used for church services, auto dealerships, etc. Any where their was need for a “remote broadcast “. Please check my photos. Has vacum tubes inside the unit. The console has 3 control pot knobs and hook up jacks on back. Do not know if this unit works or not. I think this is from the 1940′s or 50s. Has wear being used. 14″ wide x 7″ deep x 5 high. Has carrying handle on one end. Would look great cleaned up and some tlc. I used to use these back in the 1950′s when i was working at a small local radio station in north ga.
