This model in true restored condition is RARE! This radio set has been restored to it’s original condition and is ready to bring another lifetime’s listening pleasure to it’s proud new owner. You will be satisfied with this radio set because no detail inside OR outside has been overlooked in order to deliver both “dependable performance” and appealing cabinetry. Yes, you can play this radio as often as you like and for as long as you like; it’s restored! Every effort has been made to offer a practically new radio, performing as it did originally, and to be maintenance free for quite some time. The exceptionally sturdy cabinet has been refinished in traditional manner using linseed oil varnish to enhance the wood grains and impart a soft shine. The cabinet measures 17″x7″x8high. Top, sides, and bottom are solid walnut; front is walnut veneer. Absolutely a first rate restored cabinet!!!! Lit up, the original RCA Victor Nipper dial is just spectacular. This model sports dual speakers. Albeit, this model has physical presence which is not fully appreciated in photos. The electronics inside the chassis are in superb working condition after a thorough overhaul. In a restoration project, a new dial cover and power cord are a given. Check out all the photos exhibiting a clean thorough restoration job. Following the restoration, the radio frequency circuits were re-tuned using instrumentation. The end result is an old fashioned tube radio set giving excellent reception across the dial. This receiver uses 5 tubes. All 5 tubes are “new old stock”. The dial light bulb is new and rated at 3000 hours. Thoroughly bench tested, this Vintage RCA radio set is ready for it’s new home.
