IN THIS LISTING you’re purchasing the A-K shown in the photos. This was literally pulled from the attic of a friend’s grandmother’s home where it had been since the 40′s. All we did was clean the dust off of it with a damp cloth. Some discoloration on the rear coils. The dials turn cleanly and smoothly. One of the four rear brass wire hold-down knobs is missing. We pulled the tubes and the sockets are clean. The tubes are solid with no loose glass. We have zero idea how to test this! The breadboard can obviously use some oil. Excellent add for any early vintage collection. The item “Vintage Atwater-Kent Model 10-4600 Breadboard Tube Radio” is in sale since Monday, September 9, 2019. This item is in the category “Collectibles\Radio, Phonograph, TV, Phone\Radios\Tube Radios\Pre-1930″. The seller is “organs_n_audio” and is located in Airway Heights, Washington. You are purchasing a very nice vintage radio. Vintage (1923) Atwater Kent 10A Breadboard Tube Radio Receiver. You will receive what is pictured. This is from a friend of mine who’s father passed away and was an avid collector of vintage audio. Unfortunately she was not able to identify if this was in working condition. It seems to be in a nice clean condition. The breadboard is in great shape with no cracks, wires seem all in place, missing one antenna cap. Tubes are not checked nor will I try to power on or test this for I do not have suitable knowledge on this vintage piece. I’ll leave this to the collectors and the experts. I will pack this professionally by double boxing and lots of foam cushion all around. Tubes will be removed and packaged separately. Bottom wiring will be packed carefully so it does not get damaged. I sell cleaned, quality products, please check my feedback and other auctions. I work hard to keep it this way. The item “Vintage (1923) Atwater Kent 10A Breadboard Tube Radio Receiver” is in sale since Tuesday, May 7, 2019. The radio is from the Frankfort, IN area. I do not have the proper equipment to test this radio nor have the tubes been tested. I believe it to be 100% original. All of the various dials and switches seem to work as they should. It is superbly clean obviously well taken care of over the years. The mahogany wood base still has its original finish that is in very nice condition. There are a few minor scrapes/scratches like you might expect on a piece from this era. All of the components look fabulous. The underside wiring looks nice. Please be sure to preview all of the pictures so that you can determine the condition for yourself. This set would look VERY nice in your collection! I have included one picture of the speaker as well.
