I PICKED THIS UP A LOCAL SWAP MEET. I THINK THE FINISH IS PRETTY MUCH ORIGINAL AND LOOKS QUITE NICE. IT SHOWS A LITTLE WEAR AS YOU WOULD EXPECT. THE DIAL AND GLASS LENS LOOK GREAT. Vintage Working Philco Radio Model 37-630 1937, BEAUTIFUL

This one is in excellent condition, and seems to work. By work, I mean that I can turn it on to see it light up. This is all the testing I have done. I’m not sure if this one specifically is restored, however it is in great condition and appears to work. Cosmetically, this radio could not get any nicer. The dark wood is gorgeous and doesn’t have any heavy scratches or anything. This radio has been kept in pristine condition over the years. Vintage old wood antique table top tube radio 1937 Enerson model 131 Beautiful

For your consideration is one of my favorite Emerson tube radio’s. This is the always so eye catching and beautifully colored Emerson model 131. This is the “Ingraham” designed cabinet with the Ingraham metal label on the back cover. The cabinet has been refinished and looks wonderful. The great number of the veneer colors and grains really set these models apart from the rest. The radio is 12″ long x 8.75″ tall x 8 deep. A very nice size allowing you to display the radio almost anywhere you wish. The radio has a new grill cloth, new dial lamp, new AC power cord, new dial cover, and new filter/audio capacitors. The tubes, resistors, and remaining components were also tested and replaced if needed. The knobs and bezel were polished and resealed. The back cover does show some wear missing some veneer here and there but overall very solid and does its job. There is a band selector switch (BC & SW) at the rear and you will need to attach a few feet of wire to the antenna pigtail for proper performance and reception. The radio plays very well with no issues and performance will vary based on your location and signal strength. NO RESERVE and I thank you for stopping by! JUST FINISHED THIS TODAY… THIS IS A TRUETONE MODEL D-2018 ALSO KNOWN AS THE’ BOOMERANG’ THIS SET IS FROM 1950 AND LOOKS LIKE IT CAME OFF OF THE JETSON’S LIVING ROOM SHELF. THE JET AGE SET HAS HAD A COMPLETE REBUILD. THE CABINET IS CUSTOM FINISHED IN CANDY APPLE GREEN AND YELLOW/GOLD WITH A BLACK BASE WITH BLACK SWIRLS, CLEAR COATED AND BUFFED TO A WONDERFUL HIGH GLOSS. It looks to be in great condition except for the missing front grille. The tubes are in it and it appears to be complete. I have not tested this in any way. The Mahogany cabinet is in good condition also. There are a few small knicks here and there but overall shows well. I have taken photos all around so you can assess the condition for yourself. It looks to be in great condition. The tubes are in it and it appears to be complete. I have not tested this in any way. The Mahogany cabinet is in very good condition with no damage. The two doors have a brass screen behind the grilles. One of them has a couple of small holes in it. I have taken photos all around so you can assess the condition for yourself. Beautiful Vintage Hammarlund HXL-1 Tube-Type Amateur Radio Linear Amplifier

Beautiful classic Hammarlund HXL-1 linear amplifier in excellent working condition. This amplifier is from a local estate. You will see a small brass plaque on the front towards the bottom that says Leonard E. Len was a lifelong ham who owned and operated Walker Radio (now Walker Electronic Supply) in Albuquerque for many years. 20, 15, & 10 meters this grounded-grid amplifier uses two 572B tubes. This amplifier sat on a shelf collecting dust for many years — one of the pictures shows how dusty it was when I removed it from its cabinet. The amplifier contains an internal T-R relay and biases the 572B tubes completely off in standby so that there is no “shot” noise coming from conducting finals. First made in 1964, this is a very stable, very easy to use, very efficient amplifier. This amplifier makes full power with ease. It was removed from service many years ago when Len died. I brought it up very slowly over a week from zero to full 240 volts in order to preserve the good working condition of the electrolytic capacitors. I’m happy to say there were no surprises. A true boat-anchor, this amplifier weighs 66 pounds before packing material and a carton. The amplifier is currently wired for 240 volts. I’ll provide one if I have one in my collection. Otherwise it will come with the new power cord I attached to it (the old rubber one had rotted) and tinned conductors ready to accept your connector or to be hard wired into a safety switch or fuse block. This amp is a twin to one I’ve used for years — I really don’t need two of them!! A photocopy of the instruction manual will accompany this amplifier. This is a relist! Gilfillan Mini Cathedral Style Tube Radio – Beautiful – 1930s Vintage

1930′s Gilfillan Mini Cathedral Tube Radio Very nice Condition. Very nice 1930′s tube radio from the Gilfillan Bros. The cabinet is in excellent condition, as are the 3 original knobs. The speaker grill cloth has been replaced, however, the original cloth, which was torn, is still in place under the new cloth. The old capacitors and bad resistors, and dial lamp bulb were replaced. The power cord was replaced with a modern, but vintage style one with cloth covering. The radio powers up fine, but I can only receive one or two stations without a long antenna cord. The tubes have not been checked, as at the time I did not have a tube tester that would check the older style tubes. With very minor tlc from somebody familiar with these radios, it will be a good performer. It measures 9.5″ wide x 12.5″ tall. Overall, a very nice example of a Gilfillan Mini Cathedral radio.
