Very nice antique Zenith 10S531 tube radio. This radio was found in a recent estate sale. It is in great playing condition. I was able to tune in several stations loud and clear. The radio is large, measuring 25″ wide X 16″ deep X 14 high. The finish is original and overall in good condition. There is a stain from what looks like a cup being set on the top. The radio does power on as it should. I did not have it hooked up to an antenna so all I could hear was static. The radio features that awesome Zenith black dial face. The cabinet is really nice and it has a great finish. All of the knobs/dials seem to be working as they should be. The tuning dial may need some adjustment as it seemed a bit sticky in places. The push buttons seem a bit loose as well so those may need some adjustment too? The paper labels on the bottom still look good! This radio had been in storage for a number of years so Im sure that it could use a good/thorough cleaning. It measures approximately 13 ¼ by 10 ¼ by 17 5/8. The wood cabinet is beautiful! The radio powers on with a hum. The backlit WHITE dial lit up when powered on as well. The radio measures approximately 11 3/4″ by 9 1/4″ by 16 3/4. The wood cabinet looks incredible really nice! The AC power cord has either been cut or it has broken off due to it’s age so I could not power on/test this radio. The black dial paper has torn in a couple of places but I’m sure that this can be replaced if desired. I believe that this may be a RARE radio??? I could not find much info on it. In fact, the stamp on both the cabinet & the chassis looks, to me, like 5-S-22C but Radiomuseum had one listed as 5S220. If you know anything more about this radio, please let me know. The radio measures approximately 9 1/2″ by 10″ by 10 7/8. Be sure to check out my other auctions as I have several other vintage radios for sale!
