VINTAGE 1935 ONDIA 154 FRENCH ART DECO TOMBSTONE TUBE RADIO BEAUTIFUL WORKING. This radio has a stunning look. The chrome on the grille. The tuning dial with the angular shape. The two controls which have multiple functions when pulled out or turned. Everything lights up including several pilot lights, it has plenty of volume and we received some Short Wave stations with no hum. We could not receive anything else because we are not sure which of six possible antenna jacks are truly antenna jacks! The finish is very good with rich walnut and black toning. It has some wear which our pictures will show but overall it still shines. The case is very sturdy. Please note there is some light bluish refection in my photos that is not part of the finish. It includes the original back and also a tiny plastic Ondia advertising standee. It has seven tubes which are 6D6, 6A7, 6D6, 85, 42, N42, and 80. It looks well made inside and out. This handsome Art Deco table top radio measures 14 1/2 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches deep by 19 inches high. Before boxing it weighs 37 pounds. This radio will be double boxed and fully insured.
