Vintage Rare 1927 CROSLEY 601 Bandbox 6 Tube Set Ready for Restoration EUC. Very long wiring harness. Cabinet in very good vintage condition some scrapes on bottom. Metal lid has some residue on top I did not clean it, may be able to but did not want to damage paint. Original “Crackle Lacquer” paint. All plates front and back in very good condition. Mentioned in Collector’s Guide to Antique Radios 5th Edition. NOTE one of the pot metal wheels which the tuning band rides on is broken. Super estate sale find great collector addition. Vintage CROSLEY MODEL 601 BANDBOX BATTERY RADIO FOR SALE. HERE ONE TOUGH RADIO TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION…. AND OURS HAS BEEN REBUILT BY OUR GENIUS TECH. OUR FAVORITE TECH WENT OVER THIS RADIO AND CHANGED A FEW CAPS, UPGRADED SOME OF THE TUBES, PUT ON A NEW BATTERY PIGTAIL, AND TIGHTENED UP THE TUNING UNIT. THIS BANDBOX WORKS GREAT…. BELIEVE ME, I SAT AND LISTENED TO IT FOR HALF AN HOUR. THERE IS A NEW BATTERY CORD ON THIS UNIT AND THE ENDS OF THE CORD HAVE BEEN MARKED SO THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HOOK THIS RADIO TO YOUR BATTERY SUPPLY. SIZE: APPROX 17 x 8 x 6.
