This lot offers the Hallicrafter’s radio as shown. A portable model, ran on 7 1/2 volt battery or household current. I tried it 3 times. It has a high volume. I switched over to the other bands and did not hear anything, not even static or crackling. I know very little about radios, maybe it involves more then turning the knob to get the other bands, I don’t know. Inside the back I found a paper bag with two tubes that look new. I plugged it in and it has power but I was unable to pick-up and channels but I was getting static. It most likely needs to be hooked up to an attenna. Local pick-up will be very welcome.
