The case is very attractive and in excellent shape – very deco. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy – the sound is very good with no hum. This radio likes to play Benny Goodman music. As with all my radios it is electrically sound – the tubes are strong and all of the original wax/paper capacitors have been replaced and the cord has been replaced with a polarized plug. Featuring super 1940′s Art Deco styling with’Rainbow Grille’ and Stair-step walls, Rounded Corners, white Propeller Dial Pointer. I believe that It has been painted grey sometime in the past and it’s a very good job, the knobs are original. It also has a working pilot light and the original back. This radio is in great shape for its age, the case is perfect. The measurements are: 10.5″ across, 6.5″ high and 6′ in width. This radio will give years of good service. Every vintage tube radio I sell has been thoroughly serviced – tubes tested, components checked and then the unit is lubricated and cleaned inside and out. The work performed can be seen in the pictures of the chassis and/or found in the radio description.

The item up for sale is. The item is in C Used, Good cosmetic and working condition. For cosmetic condition, please refer to the Product Grading System – Below. The radio has scuffs and scratches from use, the material covering the front speaker is slightly damaged/torn (PLEASE SEE PICTURES). The power cable is in good condition considering the age of the radio. The radio was powered on using the connected power cord. The front tuner window illuminated, the knobs were able to be turned without issue. The tubes in the back of the radio illuminated once powered on. The speakers are tested working, only static was heard from the speaker. The radio will be packed accordingly with protected padding. The radio is in working condition. Included in the sale is. Vintage PHILCO Model 20 Baby Grand Cathedral Radio. This unit came from an abandoned storage facility; I do not know its history. The unit is in good cosmetic condition for its age. It powers on (when Powered On you can see the tubes are working), but for some reason there is no sound coming out. THIS IS ALL I KNOW ABOUT IT, THEREFORE. Vintage Northern Electric Model 5110 5 Tube Bakelite Radio – Baby Champ – Rainbow – Water Fall – MCM. Made in Canada 1947 era. Working radio, restored, capacitors, polarized ac cord. Loop antenna inside radio for local area stations. Wear and chips, previously re-painted cabinet. Also a ring mark can be seen on top – pic’s 4 & 8. Rear panel has some warping from age. Size is approx. 10″ inches wide x 6″ tall x 6 deep. Please view all pictures for actual condition of radio. Radio will be carefully packed with new materials for safe arrival.
