This listing is for the pictured US Apex model 8A cathedral tube radio in non working condition. I bought it for resale in the condition I got it. It was manufactured by the United States Radii and Television Corporation, Marion, IN. The serial number is 805529 and the label indicates it is 95 watts power. The speaker cone is good. All tubes are in place. The wood cabinet is very attractive, with burled wood front, and in good condition; it is mixed woods with a nice metal bezel.. The dial is clearly marked and the knobs are original. There is a missing metal piece, probably an ID piece of trim, that was located just below the speaker fabric (I’ve pictured this area for you). The radio weighs 32# and I estimate the carefully packaged radio will weigh 40-42#. The cabinet is 15 3/4″ wide by 11 1/2″ deep by 17 high. It would make a great project radio or could be placed in a collection as is. Thanks for looking and happy eBaying!
