Murdock Co antenna switch. Appears to be all original. Lever moves up and down, fits snugly into both sets of contacts. Appears to be pretty complete: one wire set screw is missing on the top contacts. 3 of the 4 grommets on the mounting holes of the base are missing. Base measures 10″ by 5 1/2″. Been sitting on an attic shelf for decades. The patina is as found, could use a little cleaning. We wiped some of the dust off to take pictures and will leave any further cleaning, if desired, to the new owner. Please check pictures as a guide to condition. Vintage Trav-ler T-29827 Portable Battery-Powered Tube Radio – Built in Antenna. It is in vintage well used condition. It will require some tubes & batteries and possibly some type of repairs to get this radio into working order. The exterior if the case has dried out and the leather handle is gone, the covering will also need to be reconditioned or something. All the latches and hinges work as designed. The antenna is built into the lid, everything appears to be here and in place for it to attach correctly. Couldn’t get any channels to come in on short wave. The FM part was discontinued so no channels come in on it. Has some cosmetic wear from age on exterior. Knobs have splitting from age. The buttons seem to work fine. The antenna was added later by a ” handyman” Looks to be the original cord with some fraying, but works and plays.
