Here we have a really nice Emud. I would find it hard to believe you can find one in better condition. Was overhauled in January. All works and sounds great. Even tells you about the tubes in it. These aren’t really my thing but it was so cool I bought it. Especially when I found out it was recently tuned up. Time for a new toy so here we are.

This 1959-60 German EMUD Rekord Senior 60 has been in my collection for over 20 years. Fully functional as demonstrated here. All valves Telefunken but for EL84 (Zenith) ECH81 (Sonotone) and EM80 Green Tuning Eye. 4 speakers with 3 tone presets. Export model with 88-108 FM scale. Dial glass is not cracked or damaged. All piano style push buttons in excellent condition. Wood case is nice but for some age related finish spots and a minor rub on back corner as shown. Sounds and looks very nice. Will be carefully packaged for safe arrival.

This radio is a lot of fun! I was just listening to short wave. There is two antennas coming out the back, but I hooked another antenna to that an old-school antenna for old tube radios and I was listening to people all over the world. Lol of course I could not understand most of it, but it was still very enjoyable. This EMUD radio is 20 inches long 12.5 inches high and 8 inches deep/wide. NEARLY PRISTINE WOOD CASE. 3 internal speakers: 1 huge 5.5″ x 9″ oval woofer speaker and 2 x electrostatic tweeters. ELECTROLYTIC FILTER CAPACITORS REPLACED WITH NEW. ALL OUT OF TOLERANCE RESISTORS REPLACED WITH NEW. WAX TUBULAR CAPACITORS REPLACED WITH NEW. CONTROLS AND SWITCHES CLEANED WITH DEOXIT. SPEAKER CLEANED OF ALL DUST BUNNIES AND TESTS PERFECT. WOOD CASE CLEANED AND POLISHED inside and out. ALL METALLIC SURFACES CLEANED AND POLISHED. BACK COVER IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. 2 Panel pilot lamps replaced with new. EM87 Magic Eye tube cleaned and tested bright and effective. SIZE: 20″W x 11″H x 10D. 6 tubes: ECH81, EF89, EABC80, EL84, ECC95 and EM87. POWER CORD is original and in excellent condition with on damage or defects. Phono input jack replaced with popular RCA famale, gold plated jack for iPod adapter or phono input. IPOD ADAPTER IS NOT included in this listing. An iPod adapter is highly recommended to protect your low voltage digital device (iPod, iPhone) from the high voltages inside this vintage tube radio.
