Experience the nostalgia of the 1950s with this vintage General Electric MCM tube radio featuring an alarm clock function. Made in the United States, this piece of history from General Electric boasts a product line of quality and reliability that’s sure to impress. The General Electric C 417 model has been a timeless classic and is now available to add to your collection. When plugged in The radio tubes buzz, the clock second hand works and the hands do turn with the time, I did not leave it plugged in long enough to time it. The volume and tuning nobs work (turn) and the tuning nob makes the indicator move. This piece is a great collectible piece to restore it did not work I did not leave it plugged in long as the cords plastic coating has hardened and I felt it needed to be checked out before use. Please see photos for the cosmetic condition, the case is solid with no breaks.

These are very difficult to find in this condition. This model is highly sought after for its space age styling. Plastic case is in excellent condition with two small hairlines. These radios all exhibit the same small hairlines in the case due to the heat of the tubes. Radio works and plays, clock does not work. Probably just needs to ve lubricated.

The “Debonair” is an obscure clock radio known for its 1950′s TV-style appearance and unique design. It is in unrestored condition with a working clock. The radio will need some work. When tested the radio hummed and now makes not noise. The on/off knob is atop the black with gold trim Polystyrene case. The clock radio turns on/off by twisting the plastic bezel covering the clock. Another great radio from my personal, smoke-free collection. About 11 “W x 8 “H x 7 D.

THE PRICE IN THIS LISTING IS NOT AN EXACT QUOTE!!! I HAD TO PUT SOMETHING FOR THE LISTING TO BE VISIBLE BUT CAN NOT QUOTE UNTIL I KNOW WHICH COUNTRY YOU LIVE IN!! This is a Beautiful rare find. It is a 1950s General Electric princess pink tube clock radio alarm clock. The clock works great and the alarm works and have been tested. The radio works, sometimes I have trouble finding a station sometimes I don’t and I get a lot of static in between. I do have videos of it working properly now. The light behind the dial lights up. And I did not find any chips cracks or breaks to the case at all. The only thing I found missing was one of the three small knobs above the radio dial, it looks like the metal thing that holds the knob used to be two prong and there’s now only has one prong. I believe a knob could easily be attached. I use a pair of pliers very gently to test the functions and turn it from on to auto to off. There are a few smudge marks that I didn’t try to hard to clean off. I didn’t want to take a chance of damaging the case. When I got it the clock was stuck so I had an electrician gently take it out and oil it and put it back in. Now it works great and has a wonderful sweep but when we had it apart we found the schematic inside the case but no longer glued to the wall. We left it in there. It’s very hard to find one of these 70 year old clocks in this great of a condition and still working. I left it plugged in for over 24 hours to test the accuracy of the clock, which by the way was perfect, it didn’t seem to be having any problems being plugged in and running for a long period of time. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PICTURES THEY ARE A BIG PART OF ANY DESCRIPTION. IF YOU WOULD LIKE ADDITIONAL PICTURES PLEASE ASK!! LOOK AT MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR UNUSUAL ANTIQUE AND COLLECTIBLE ITEMS. I pack my items VERY well + use sturdy boxes and that adds to the weight of the item. Most of the items I sell are Estate finds and in used condition, they may show signs of wear and use. I try to list and take pictures of any faults I find with these items. THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK!!!
