HERE IS A VINTAGE MAJESTIC MIGHTY MONARCH OF THE AIR AC-DC TUBE RADIO. THIS UNIT CAME OUT OF AN ESTATE AND LOOKS TO BE PRETTY COMPLETE AND LOOKS GOOD PHYSICALLY FOR ITS AGE. IT HAS NOT BEEN TESTED BECAUSE I DID NOT KNOW WHICH WIRES TO HOOK TO BATTERY OR AC AND WAS AFRAID I WOULD HOOK THE WRONG ONES UP AND BLOW IT OUT. THIS RADIO WILL BE A GOOD ONE TO RESTORE. Vintage EMERSON 60s MID CENTURY Tube Radio 115 volts / AC-DC 30 watts. Good / Vintage Condition : Pre-owned, well take care of, the radio need to be warm up before the sounds came on. It is in working condition with great old school sounds vibes. It has sign of using, aging with some dust & stain from sitting on the shelf (that need to clean) but overall, it is a beautiful vintage piece with original turquoise color. VINTAGE, 1950′s “HOPALONG CASSIDY” TUBE RADIO by ALVIN-MODEL 441T, AC-DC. The chassis has been cleaned and upgraded along with the addition of a polarized plug by Keven of Antique Sounds of Putnam, CT. [The plug because of the electrical shock rumored to occur with this radio]. It is also said that the Arvin radios do not have strong reception. I live 30 miles from Hartford, CT. I extended the radio antenna about 3 feet. Got static and 3 stations I could understand. Measures 8″W x 5″H x 4D. The front metal is a clean, even silver color with a very small blemish at the top of the “H”[Photo 10]. The black case has a very few, very minor blemishes. Thank you for the interest.
