Vintage Zenith Model 6D512 Art Deco Bakelite Tube Radio that is in working condition. Body of the radio is a nice marbled brown bakelite that will really stand out if you place a clear coat on it. There are no chips or cracks and the surface scratches that are present do not detract from the overall appearance. The radio is functioning, but not well. There is some background hum when turned on. Functions better when a wire is extended out from the short blue ground wire. Radio has broadcast and short wave bands and I only tested the broadcast band. Tuning knob functions, but dial indicator gets hung up in spots. Two of the feet in the rear of the radio are missing. Radio has the classic white Z knobs, which are little dirty from age. Great looking bakelite radio that will be a fine addition to your collection.
