This lot offers the Hallicrafter’s radio as shown. A portable model, ran on 7 1/2 volt battery or household current. I tried it 3 times. It has a high volume. I switched over to the other bands and did not hear anything, not even static or crackling. I know very little about radios, maybe it involves more then turning the knob to get the other bands, I don’t know. Inside the back I found a paper bag with two tubes that look new. This is a beautiful and extremely rare tube stereo radio by Motorola, which has been fully restored and serviced to excellent working order. It has lovely vintage warm tone, but still great sonic range and clarity. The wood cabinet has a few scratches and visible marks, but nothing major. Then as you can see in photo #2 an indication light came on and the needle on the Micromhos widow responded.
