Incredibly unique designed Stromberg Carlson 228 radio. I wish I knew the story of this radio, cannot find another one like it! Decorated with what looks like wooden matchsticks and a wooden carved heart on top, this person did an incredible job… Some wear all around including some flaking and missing wood, knobs are missing, some tears in the black mesh, wear on the plug in cord, inside contents are loose. I did plug it in and it started working, but then a fuse blew so I immediately unplugged from the wall. I assume the speaker is no longer good as well. Would be an absolutely incredible piece to restore!
Vintage 1930′s Philco Superheterodyne Cathedral Radio Model 89 Tested & Working. Speaker screen is re upholstered. Tested and working, powers on and gets a signal depending on antenna placement. Shows some cosmetic wear consistent with age.
Vintage 1930s Philco Tube Radio Model 630 Shouldered Tombstone Design. PARTS/REPAIR, UNTESTED, ASSUME NOT WORKING!! Two small Philco labels found inside are pretty roached, dry, brittle, breaking apart. Lower three knobs snug and turn fine, station knob turns smoothly and station disc advances nicely. HTF Model, research shows only about 14,000 were ever made of the 630 model. Radio has tubes and cords, but is untested and presumed not working. Dusty, dirty, especially inside; also missing most all of it’s wood stain finish, all as shown. Feel free to reach out if you need more pictures or have questions. Gets a station but the volume knob is very touchy and makes loud noises, the far left knob makes a loud ticking noise whaen turned. Missing a knob, scratches and could have been varnished once. 1 wood chip on the right bottom small, paint chips and paint loss, fabric great.
Silvertone Cathedral Tube Radio Table Top Art Deco Vintage 1930′s Wooden Cabinet. This item powers on. For it to properly tune into channels, you’ll need to attach an antenna (not included). Condition notes: Cabinet has some layers peeled off in the front, as pictured. Also the outer cabinet has some scratches and a small split, as shown in pictures.
