This is a vintage 1930′s Motorola radio, made in the United States. It has a classic tube design that gives it a mid-century modern retro cool look. This is a nice old Art Deco radio for the 1930′s in excellent condition, never painted. The Airline Model 62-274 Radio is a vintage tube radio manufactured by Montgomery Ward & Co. (Wards, Airline) in the late 1930s. It is a plastikon cabinet radio with a ivory color finish, featuring six pushbutton station selectors and a tuning eye. Dimensions: The radio measures approximately 13 inches wide, 7.5 inches high, and 7 inches deep. Features: The 62-274 model includes. Electro Magnetic Dynamic (EMD) speaker with a 5-inch diameter. Six pushbutton station selectors for tuning. Tuning eye for precise frequency adjustment. Plastikon cabinet with an ivory finish. Power supply: AC (alternating current). This radio has seven tubes (including the eye tube), uses a long wire for an antenna and it picks up all local stations, and all the original features including the grille cloths. The radio is in excellent, functioning condition with only a very small, slight crack line in the lower rear grill (see picture). A wonderful addition to your collection and/or decorative showpiece. RCA Victor 5Q55 Tube Radio. Made in the USA. Tested and working, tunes into channels here in Seattle, WA. Dial light turns in, as pictured. On the top of the outer case there is a hairline crack, as pictured and pointed to. Not a common model to find! Has lots of life left! Thanks for considering &####128578. This WELLS-GARDNER 5 tube radio from 1938 has one of the nicest mottled or marbled Bakelite cabinets you will find. The size is 9″ x 6 1/2″ x 5. The case lines are very Deco and the wraparound grill bars are unusually thick. Wells Gardner Tube Radio. It powers on and the dial light turns on. But there is a loud hum, no stations come in. It says that it is a battery type and may be older than I thought it was. The case is in fair condition for it’s age. Please see pic 4 that shows slight discoloration on bottom of the side.
