The rear speaker clotch has a puncture. There is a chip on top but apparently this could happen to pot metal. Speaker wire has been cut. I believe this is a 1000ohm speaker. There are companies that still manufacture replacement parts for this model. Very cool and heavy item. Please see photos for condition. Vintage 1920′s Jensen Full Range Table Top Tube Radio Speaker. I cannot find a model number, only a “Manufactured by Jensen” sticker with last patent in 1926. Unfortuneately I do not have a way to test it. The driver looks to be in excellent condition. Cables are a bit of a mess but I’m sure could easily be fixed/sorted out. Cabinet shows plenty of wear, as pictured. Speaker weighs about 25lbs. Dimensions are 15 1/2″ wide x 12″ deep x 14 /12 high. This came from the Estate of my late Father. In my estimation it dates from around the early 20th Century, circa 1920s, but please make up your own mind about this. The radio measures approx 6 3/4 inches (170mm), by 6 12 inches (165mm) deep, by 6 1/2 inches (165mm) tall. It has a mahogany case, with a bakelite control panel, and is in good condition, with no cracks. This is a fine example of its type and it would be a great addition to any collection. It needs a tube and I have no idea if it still works. The wood cabinet is great. The dials and knobs are great with some wear, but not too bad at all. Please see pics for more details.
