This is a rare radio that features an electronic tuning dial! The radio powers on when plugged in and turned on I was able to hear a loud hum. It was not hooked up to an external antenna. He backlit dial light works nicely and looks awesome when lit up! I pressed a couple of the tuning presets and the electronic tuning mechanism seemed to be working as it should be! He wood cabinet is nice and solid and the finish looks really nice. There are some minor imperfections like you might expect on a piece from this era. All of the various dials and switches seem to be working as they should be. As you can see from the pictures, the chassis looks clean but the radio has been in storage for many years so I’m sure that it could use a good/thorough cleaning. I do not have the proper equipment to test this radio any further. Please be sure to preview all of the pictures so that you can determine the condition for yourself. The pictures were taken later in the day so the flash kicked in! Just a FYI on why some of the pics look a little more shiny.
