Vintage Sears Silvertone Clock Radio. Radio From 1960′s. Very Nice Looking Radio. Picks up Many Stations Loud and Clear. See Video and Photos. Very Nice Lighted Dial. See Photos and Video for more Description. I will be listing over 300 Vintage and Antique Radios from a Collection. Radios from the 20′s 30′s 40′s 50′s 60′s 70′s some 80′s. Rare Vintage Detrola model 106, just in from radio collectors estate. Has a great Art Deco look, and a beautiful dial area. Few chips on wood, see pictures, also two drilled holes on rear left and there is a split on right of the holes. I took back off to show insides, looks very complete to me, see pictures. Not sure why he drilled two holes, they seem to go to nowhere. I do not see a model number on unit. But did a web search and sure seems to be a model 106. Feel free to double check me. I also asked a radio group and they said 106. Overall very nice, as you can see. Again needs tune up, has good cord, the cord plug says “The Handy Plug” on it. Good back, and overall a great Art Deco look. Final sale, as found. Please see all pictures and use zoom feature. Often the pictures describe the item better than words. I try my very best and list a lot of pictures, but are not posted as a “try it and see if it fits and send back ” type item. Please know if this is the item that works for you before you order. Offered for sale is a very nice unrestored 1938 Emerson R-156 tombstone tube radio. Case is in VG condition with no cracks or damage. Chassis looks complete with original power cord. The unit does warm up, but I couldn’t receive any signal. Emerson used the R-156 model designation for several radios, each one with different cabinets, but utilizing the same chassis. These sets perform well and have great sensitivity and volume across the dial. Measures 12-1/2″H x 9-1/2″W x 5D. This radio will be professionally packed and double boxed.
