Westinghouse Model H-126 “Little Jewel” Refrigerator Tube Radio. Referred to as a refrigerator radio because of its styling, and according to one source, in 1945 Westinghouse gave you one for free if you bought a Westinghouse refrigerator. Has been tested and it works. Tunes into channels here in Seattle wa. The light turns on too. Paint on the bakelite is chipped but there are no cracks in the actual plastic! Made in the USA. NUTONE RADIO INTERCOM MASTER CONTROL STATION. Pink gold aluminum housing. Center speaker/microphone, with eight remote switches. Truly a vacuum tube powered unit. There’s only one early transistor in this unit. So it’s not a hybrid type. Circa 1963 – 1964. Tested with power cord not included. Typical wear consistent with age and/or use. It might need adjustments, repair, or maintenance. Considering it’s age. Measure 9-1/8″ x 15-3/4″ and about 4-1/2 deep. Weighs 7.5 lbs. Saved from a Mid Century Modern home in NY prior to demolition. Originally installed in the hallway next to the living room of the home. Great piece of home technology from yesteryear. I prefer not to clean vintage or antique items.
